What's great about this piece is the way you've made a clean and sophisticated logo without detracting elements from Mega Absol's design.

The use of shape and colour are quite effective here. Your composition makes the 'Ying and Yang' influence in it's design even more evident which is a huge bonus in increasing it's overall appeal as a logo. More over Mega Absol's simple colour palette compliments your style.

Your shading is fairly decent here but looks a bit artsy for a graphic design logo. A bolder vector shading approach, without the use of a drop shadow would make it look even more professional.

I understand that wings are a key element in Absol's evolution but feel that they are not needed in this logo as they weaken the strong shape elements that i mentioned earlier, which revolve around it's head. You have to bare in mind that unlike an art piece, you're designing something that will most probably be reduced to a much smaller size so a simple shape is paramount.

Overall I think you've made a stylish logo that'd look great in large print i.e posters and Book covers etc but just needs a little bit of tweaking so it can maintain it's effectiveness in small print.
